This is where you will find book announcements, recommendations, where to buy new Susan Cannon book releases, and a few “behind the scenes” articles on what it has taken to write a Christian/Messianic Southern Gothic novel.
Once my first novel has been published, you will also learn more about “what comes next.” After all, the plan is to write a trilogy. (There might be some spin-offs from at least the first novel as well. I already have one in mind now!)
Sneak peek: The second novel will move away from the Southern Gothic theme, offer a few lookbacks in time, and wind up in a present-day small Texas town.
Oh! Did I forget to mention that Biblically referenced supernatural gifting is also involved? That’s going to carry us throughout the entire series.

What I Hope to Accomplish
I am not just writing exciting books for entertainment, although that is one of my goals. I am writing to help you, dear readers, be blessed with the truth of how much God loves each one of us! I am writing to help you understand who He is from the beginning, all the way through to who He is today. And yes, I used is in the present tense, even when referring to the past. With God, it just works that way. Finally, I want you to be encouraged, enlightened, and filled with the hope that yesterday, today, and tomorrow will one day return to the pure redemption of life itself. That’s God’s promise, and He’s sticking with it! Therefore, so am I.
