Teacher

Being a teacher is a calling. Most teachers exercise that calling in a classroom. So did I for a while. And I dearly loved the work! My students were taught real-world skills and had a blast learning them. Under my guidance, I taught them how to write newsletters, plays, poetry, and skits. I had them illustrate Lewis Carroll’s Jabberwocky before it was made into a movie. We even outlined sentences from this nonsense poem and had fun doing it! The students presented their newsletter to the Principal for approval. They wrote and produced a play for the school. They wrote and performed skits for class. We used game show methods for spelling drills. After leaving the classroom, I remained a teacher in one form or fashion. I came from a family of teachers, will always be a teacher, and now I teach through the content of my blogs and books.
